Mini Med School: Vancouver
At Mini Med School, you’ll learn about the latest in biomedical and clinical research. Since 2003, there have been 16 Mini Med School courses at BC Children's Hospital, each dedicated to a different field of scientific research. Each course curriculum is designed to give a basic understanding of the field while exploring up-to-the-minute basic science research, clinical applications and social and ethical implications related to that field.

Mini Med School occurs each year in October and November at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver (Map). The series includes 6 sessions on Wednesday nights, 7:00 - 9:00pm. The next Mini Med School will be held in October-November 2017.
Lower Mainland high school students in grades 10-12 interested in attending Mini Med must be nominated by their science or career teacher. A limited number of seats are also reserved for the public each year, those interested in attending must register online in early September. Please note, each year the course curriculum is designed for students in grade 10-12.
Outside the Lower Mainland? The sessions are recorded and available for online viewing with 48-hours. Registration is not required to watch the sessions online.
