What is the BC Children\u2019s Hospital BioBank?<\/h2>

The BioBank hosts a secure, ethically managed collection of de-identified patient samples and information, available to researchers across BC Children\u2019s Hospital and BC Women\u2019s Hospital + Health Centre. Samples are donated by patients who give informed consent to support research aimed at improving care for children, youth, and families. <\/p>

Thanks to the generous support of Mining for Miracles<\/em><\/a> \u2014 the BC mining community\u2019s longtime fundraising campaign for BC Children\u2019s Hospital \u2014 the BioBank has grown into a valuable resource for clinical and discovery researchers alike. <\/p>
