Accommodation Assistance<\/h2>

The BC Family Residence Program (BCFRP) provides accommodation assistance for families while a child requires care at BC Children\u2019s Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre, BC Cancer Agency (Vancouver), and babies in the neo-natal unit at BC Women\u2019s Hospital. Travel Assistance <\/h2>

The Travel Assistance Program (TAP) helps alleviate some of the transportation costs for eligible BC residents who must travel within the province for non-emergency medical specialist services not available in their own community. Please ask your primary care provider for TAP forms. For more information, visit the TAP BC website<\/a>.<\/p>

Social Work<\/h2>

If you need more support, a social worker can connect you to other travel resources that your family could be eligible. A social worker can also offer emotional support, assist with technology or language barriers, refer you to organizations and resources in your community, and more.<\/p>

To speak with a Social Worker, please contact the Social Work Office at 604-875-2345 ext. 2149. Alternatively, ask your child\u2019s clinic to connect you with a Social Worker. <\/p>
