success.<\/p><p class=\"fndry-paragraph\"><strong>Achievements include:<\/strong><\/p><ul  class=\"fndry-list fndry-d--flex fndry-flex--col\"><li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tBoth representation on and leadership for numerous international committees involved in articulating strategies for childhood cancer basic, translational and clinical research<\/li>\n<\/ul><ul  class=\"fndry-list fndry-d--flex fndry-flex--col\"><li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\t$10 million in research grants and funding \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul><ul  class=\"fndry-list fndry-d--flex fndry-flex--col\"><li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tThree scientists recently recruited to the site<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\t186 publications from primary members over the last five years and 89 from secondary members for a total of 275 (55 publications per year) &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tSeveral clinicians with expertise and interest in research recently recruited to BC Children&#8217;s Hospital, an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\t68 fellows, students and other trainees given comprehensive training opportunities in research&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tPhase II and III clinical trials undertaken, with over 600 patients currently registered in studies&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tOn-site, local, provincial, national and international collaborations<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tInvitations to address and organize international meetings&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tNine patents written&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li\n\t class=\"fndry-list-item\">\n\tNumerous collaborations with industry, particularly in the area of drugs acting on proteins found to be potential targets for therapy in pediatric oncology&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div  class=\"fndry-container fndry-responsive-bg
