Digital Health Spring Social Event<\/h2>

On May 2, 2024, the joint Digital Health Research Program at BCCHR and WHRI co-hosted a Digital Health Spring Social Event at UBC Robson Square with entrepreneurship@ UBC (e@UBC). This event brought together over 60 participants from all different institutions including C&W, UBC, BCIT, PHSA, industry partners, and more! With a buzzing atmosphere and a room filled with industry leaders, researchers, clinicians, and digital health leaders, our social event was a true celebration of digital innovation and collaboration aimed at improving health services for women, children, and families in BC!<\/p>

Together, we witnessed insightful presentations from six amazing speakers: <\/p>

    \n\tJonathon Jafari \u2013 Introduction to entrepreneurship@UBC<\/a><\/li>\n\n\tDr. Lori Brotto \u2013 Learn about eSense<\/a>: a usable, feasible, and effective digital health tool for women’s sexual health <\/li>\n\n\tDr. Patricia Janssen \u2013 SmartParent<\/a> \u2013 Teaching by texting to promote healthy behaviours in pregnancy<\/li>\n\n\tShelin Adam \u2013 DECIDE<\/a> \u2013 Decision-aid & E-Counselling to Support Patients\u2019 Diagnostic Genomic Testing Choices  <\/li>\n\n\tDr. Matthew Wiens \u2013 Smart Discharges<\/a>: Using a Data-driven Prediction Model to Identify Vulnerable Children <\/li>\n\n\tDr. Alexandra T. Greenhill \u2013 Digitally reimagining the hub-and-spoke model to deliver patient-centered coordinated care<\/a>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>
