Calpendo Booking System<\/h2>

First time core users please register on\u00a0Calpendo<\/a>\u00a0to create a user profile using your academic email. Your account must be tied to a PI who is also on Calpendo. If your PI is not on Calpendo, please ask them to make an account first.\u00a0Once the account is approved, you will be able to log in and access the resource calendars to book training with a core staff. Once trained, your account will be able to book for self-serve usage.<\/p>

Note that accounts will be expired for those that have not logged in 180 days. There will be a reminder 30 days prior.<\/p>

Grant Authorization Form<\/h3>

Please submit billing information on the secure\u00a0Grant Authorization Form<\/a>. If you have any questions about this form, please speak to\u00a0Kate Choi<\/a>\u00a0or someone in your lab who has filled one out before. Once an appropriate grant is submitted, that grant will be used to charged any BCCHR Core Services. BCCHR Cores include Imaging, Histology, Flow, ACMaN.<\/p>

Training<\/h3>

When you book a training on Calpendo, it will automatically send an Onboarding Form for BCCHR Core Technologies<\/a><\/strong> to fill out. This form will let us know that you have completed all the necessary UBC safety training courses and that you have read all necessary UBC safety policies. This form will ensure that we have approval from your supervisor(s) to receive training on selected equipment(s). Prior to your training, please consult with the Flow Core Manager and send the completed signed form to core-tech@bcchr.ca and the Flow Core Manager. Our Flow Core Manager will contact you to discuss details.<\/p>

After receiving training on any equipment, you will be required to sign the training record with the Flow Core Manager. Please email a completed signed copy to\u00a0core-tech@bcchr.ca<\/a>\u00a0and the Flow Core Manager. We will then update your training in Calpendo, which opens up the ability to book self-serve on that equipment.<\/p>
