Tucker<\/a> completed pediatric rheumatology training at The New England Medical Center- Floating Hospital for Children, Boston, MA, before moving to join the Division of Rheumatology at BCCH. She has been an integral part of developing Canadian multi-centre research in JIA, and was a principal investigator for the first large long term JIA cohort study, ReACCH-Out (Research on Arthritis on Canadian Children-Outcomes). She is a co-lead for the LEAP study, a Canadian study of physical activity in kids with JIA. She has founded a Systemic Autoinflammatory Disease Program at BCCH, aimed at providing diagnosis and care, with translational research. His current primary research focus is in pediatric vasculitis, as the principal investigator for the international Pediatric Vasculitis Research network.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n clinical epidemiologist educated in Mexico and Canada, with specialist training in pediatric rheumatology and in physical medicine and rehabilitation.<\/p><p class=\"fndry-paragraph\">Dr. Guzman\u2019s research has been published in 101 peer-reviewed scientific articles that have been cited more than 13,000 times. Since 2011, his research focus is the course and prognosis of children with juvenile arthritis, including pivotal papers on the outcomes of juvenile idiopathic arthritis and how to predict them. He is a coauthor of the 2019 and 2021 American College of Rheumatology practice guidelines for juvenile arthritis.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div
