MD

Investigator and Nephrologist, BC Children's Hospital
Program Director, Pediatric Nephrology

My primary area of research interest is in the management of Childhood Nephrotic Syndrome. For over a decade our Clinical Pathway program has developed and revised a provincial pathway for nephrotic syndrome management. Based on our own research and external literature, we are continually aiming to improve care for children with this condition. My focus is on optimizing improvement in quality of life for families dealing with this syndrome.

I am also involved in other pathway developing groups establishing multidisciplinary management guidelines for both pediatric hypertension and renal anomalies (including hydronephrosis, cystic and/or dysplastic kidneys, solitary kidneys).
