LearnDiabetes is an interactive, customized multimedia platform that provides easy-to-understand education and training that can be tailored to each family’s unique needs. It offers the education and tools that children and families need across their entire journey with diabetes, from diagnosis and day-to-day management to transition out of pediatric care.
LearnDiabetes was co-designed with families, clinicians, and the Digital Lab at BC Children’s Hospital. Through this collaborative process, the platform reflects real-world experiences and priorities from both children and caregivers. This ensures the educational content is not only accurate, but meaningful, practical, and grounded in what families say they truly need.
