Physical activity is feasible, safe, beneficial, and recommended for young people diagnosed with cancer. Yet, there are several barriers to physical activity in this cohort. In my research, I work with young people diagnosed with cancer to create and test physical activity interventions. I implement and test these physical activity interventions in pragmatic trials across Canada. My work seeks to improve the health of young people diagnosed with cancer through the inclusion of physical activity.
