Andrea Human

FRCPC, MD, MScHQ

Investigator and Pediatric Rheumatologist, BC Children's Hospital
Program Director, UBC Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship Program

My research interests are focused on improving outcomes and quality of care for children with rheumatic disease. I am currently involved in a study evaluating disparities in care in juvenile arthritis based on place of residence through collaboration with the Canadian Alliance for Pediatric Rheumatology Investigators. I am also leading a clinical trial at BC Children’s Hospital evaluating a new treatment for children with systemic lupus erythematosus, enabling access to medication that would otherwise not be available for our patients.
