Anton R. Miller

FRCPC, MB

Investigator, BC Children's Hospital

My work has investigated health and wellbeing among children and youth with neurodisability, and their families. It has looked at how to assess and measure these entities using various kinds and sources of data. I have also looked at ways to enhance health and wellbeing at the levels of clinical practice and through societal and policy level changes and interventions.

Currently, my research efforts involve consultation, collaboration and support with various projects whose aims largely map to those described above. These projects are

1. Understanding challenges to delivery of autism services and supports in British Columbia including the problem of timeliness to access.

PI: Dr Angie Ip (UBC)

2. Helping families to navigate systems of services and supports across Canada.

PI: Dr David Nicholas (U Calgary).

3. Using administrative datesets to understand distribution of services and supports for children and youth with neurodisability and their families, and to inform policy-making in health and social care.

PI: Dr Jennifer Zwicker (U Calgary)
