As a neonatologist I take care of very sick newborns and infants who suffer a great variety of clinical and surgical problems. The main focus of my research agenda covers aspects related to infection, cardiac and respiratory problems of this vulnerable population.

As Division Head of Neonatology - Perinatal Fellowship Program I'm also interested in the training and education of future neonatologists. We have physicians coming from all over the world to receive training in our facility.
