Dr. Laura Beresford’s research areas include understanding how to best support pediatric patients with an organ transplant transition from pediatric to adult care, studying the pharmacokinetics of immunosuppressants (how medication travels through the body) in pediatric patients who have received an organ transplant, and studying the safety and effectiveness of medications in pediatric patients living with kidney disease or who are on dialysis, and pediatric patients receiving intravenous (IV) medications that treat infections at home.
