Stacey has a special interest is in hip displacement and hip surveillance in children with cerebral palsy. As the Coordinator of the Child Health BC Hip Surveillance Program for Children with Cerebral Palsy, the first surveillance program of its kind in North America, she has been involved with the development, implementation, and management of this new provincial program.

Award of Excellence with Distinction, BC Children’s Hospital & Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, Awarded 2008.

2017 Fred P. Sage Award, American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine for creation of the Child Health BC Hip Surveillance Program for Children with Cerebral Palsy E-Learning Module.

Jeanne Hughes Award for the best paper published in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2016 as a result of work completed while in an educational program; Awarded February 2017.
