Clinical Research Support Unit

Seamlessly integrating research and clinical care.

We Facilitate High-Quality Clinical Research

We understand that clinicians have limited time to do research. We provide a central resource of expertise and knowledge, enabling clinicians to pursue successful research projects while continuing to provide exceptional clinical care.

Our team is committed to helping inform evidence-based care and working to develop capacity, anticipate needs, and fill gaps where new innovative solutions are needed. We value open communication and working with others — including under-represented voices — as a way to ensure that research activities at BC Children’s benefit everyone.

Clinical Research Support Unit (CRSU) Services

We support more than 1,000 active research projects involving BC Children’s patients and their families.

Biostatistics

We assist with research project development, study design and methodology, statistical analysis, and data management — to ensure the research question can be answered.
