Research & Technology Development Office

Providing advanced expertise in grant facilitation.

We Maximize the BCCHR Research Community’s Award Success Rate

Dr. Dawn McArthur founded the Research & Technology Development Office (RTDO) in 2003 with a mandate to enhance research capacity and competitiveness at BCCHR. Since the very beginning, we’ve worked with faculty and clinicians using a highly successful approach to grant facilitation that spans the entire lifecycle of a grant — idea/concept, planning/brainstorming, proposal development, iterative review, and submission. In 2008, our mission was expanded to include support for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, who may approach the RTDO directly for advice on their applications.

Our approach is malleable and can support most researcher needs, whether you are developing new programs, require logistical support for complex proposals, or just need a straightforward grant review. Any faculty member, clinician, student, or fellow affiliated with BCCHR (including Sunny Hill), WHRI, or BCMHSUS, can contact us. Any funding competition or major award is welcome.
