
It’s a peanut-filled world — or at least it can feel that way for kids with peanut allergies. But a new study by researchers at BC Children’s Hospital and the University of British Columbia gives hope to parents and kids who face real danger from exposure to peanuts.

Today, Canada’s COVID-19 Immunity Task Force (CITF) is supporting a BC Children’s Hospital-led research project that aims to better grasp the role that children and young adults have played in the development of the COVID-19 pandemic in British Columbia (BC).

Around one in ten teens in Canada will experience SSRD – which involves chronic, physical symptoms such as pain or fatigue. SSRD can be debilitating and isolating as the physical symptoms make it difficult to attend school or socialize with friends.
