Welcome to the Sunny Hill Health Centre
Sunny Hill Health Centre Research is part of the Sunny Hill Health Centre at BC Children’s Hospital, the only tertiary pediatric rehabilitation and developmental services facility of its kind in BC. This includes children who are:
- recovering from life-altering events like traumatic injuries or strokes
- receive assessments or care for developmental conditions like cerebral palsy or autism
The Sunny Hill Health Centre is on the campus of BC Children’s Hospital. It is affiliated with BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute and the University of British Columbia.

Services
Sunny Hill Health Centre offers specialized services to children with disabilities and their families from across the province and serves children from birth to age 19.
Training
We teach:
- undergraduate to post-graduate students from the UBC Faculty of Medicine and provincial colleges
- allied health professionals
- physicians and residents from various disciplines
- physicians specializing in developmental pediatrics
We work closely with children, their families, and community professionals to provide education through workshops, conferences, seminars, video conferences, and telephone conferences.
