We have several on-going research projects and are actively recruiting participants for some studies. Details of projects that are currently recruiting participants are available below:
Understanding the link between eating behaviours, physical symptoms, and quality of life.
The research team is trying to determine how three groups of children and youth are different and similar: (1) children and youth who have a diagnosis of avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), (2) children and youth who have a diagnosis of a somatic symptom or related disorder (SSRD) with gastrointestinal symptoms, and (3) children and youth who do not have either diagnosis.
We are currently inviting families to participate if your child is between the ages of 4-18 years, is generally healthy, and does not have a diagnosis of ARFID or SSRD. Participating in this study involves filling out five questionnaires online, which is expected to take about 30 minutes.
