To give you the opportunity to mingle with students outside your research team, various networking events will be arranged throughout the summer. 

Each week, students will receive an email bulletin about upcoming events and their available formats. Attendance will be recorded during each session.

Networking Events

Sign-Up, Pair-Up, Meet-Up | Week of June 15 – 19

Engage and connect with fellow summer students with a coffee chat! Participants will be paired with other summer students to chat virtually or in-person. This is your chance to network and practice your communications skills in a safe and friendly environment.

Scheduling: Participants can pick a date and time that works best for their group.

Giftcards: Each participant will receive a $6 Starbucks e-giftcard for their meet-up. Additional details will be emailed to each group.

World Cup Watch Party | June 24 | 12:00pm

Session Format: In-Person
Location: Chan Centre for Family Health Education (Chan Auditorium), BCCHR

This session will NOT be available virtually or recorded for On-Demand. 

Join us for a FIFA World Cup watch party for the Canada vs Switzerland game! Snacks will be provided outside the auditorium.
