Individual Travel Grants
Competitive travel grants in 2020 and 2022 will enable hands-on training in CAN-ASC SOPs. Travel grants will be open to any researcher (graduate level or higher) or technical staff in Canada, and will support travel to a suitable CAN-ASC lab (typically the Reference lab).
CAN-ASC will run two ‘bench’ workshops in that will offer training for several SOPs over 2-3 days. The workshops will be organized to maximize networking opportunities with the HIR Teams. The first workshop will take place in 2021 and be held in Eastern Canada; the second, in 2023, will be held in Western Canada. Both workshops will be developed with industry partners who can provide on-site instrument support and technical application expertise.
