Help researchers understand the immune response to COVID-19 vaccines!
Why we are doing the study:
Multiple COVID-19 vaccines have been approved in Canada, but implementing the recommended immunization schedule has been challenging due to factors such as vaccine shortages. The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness, safety, and acceptability of different dosing schedules and different combinations of the COVID-19 vaccines that are available in Canada. The goals of this study are to help researchers understand the immune response to COVID-19 after vaccination with different intervals and vaccines between the first and second dose, and to help guide future policies and recommendations for how these vaccines are used.
We are looking for:
Healthy individuals 18 years of age and older who have received their first dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine but have not received their second dose OR who have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine.
The study involves:
The study involves 4 to 5 clinic visits at the VEC during a period of 11 or 12 months. Total time commitment is approximately 2-4 hours. You will receive one or two telephone/email contacts from us. We will ask questions about your health at each visit.
